Phew! I have been a busy little mermaid these past few days, alternating between website stuff, working full-time, and crown building. I’m ready to share two new crowns I made this week, and I officially posted them both for sale in the new Etsy shop! The Aqua Sparkle Mermaid Crown ($80) is ready to ship, but the design itself can be easily customized with a different color scheme, center jewel, or dangle for those of you who are looking to place a preorder.
This super sparkly mermaid crown will turn you into the siren of your dreams! Showcasing a color changing light blue and silver colored center jewel, this crown is adorned with all natural shells, silver colored starfish, faux pearls, rhinestone flowers, and a variety of other sparkly baubles. The sand dollar dangle is topped by two pearlescent blue roses and the entire crown is accented with fine holographic aqua glitter. Pictures don’t do this beauty justice! Perfect for music festivals, mermaid gatherings, birthday celebrations, weddings, baby showers, beach-themed events, or wearing whenever you want your inner mermaid to come out and play! The crown is adjustable and secures behind your head with a vintage flowered ribbon that can be tied under or over hair.
For the next crown, I decided to go a little dark and wild. I present to you the Dark Siren Feather Crown ($120):
This one-of-a-kind crown is for wicked sirens, those who use their song to lure sailors into the depths. The center sparkler is subtle, allowing the natural colored shell below to take center stage. Faux pearls, silver colored anchors and starfish, white pearlescent roses,rhinestones, silver colored beads, and mother of pearl spikes adorn the crown itself, sprinkled amongst a variety of all natural shells. Hanging below, four ominous looking octopi enrich the overall dark mermaid vibe. Lending elegance, black and white feathers sit tall above the crown. The band itself is covered in black sequins and silver sparkles, with a satin silver ribbon to secure the crown in place. The finishing touch is holographic glitter that looks like it came straight from a black sand beach. All of the shells used on both of these crowns have stunning all natural coloring, and these pictures do no justice to the insane amount of sparkle featured in between each shell.
