The past few days, I’ve been expanding on the original logo I made using the awesome FREE website logomakr.com. I came up with the mermaid crown above. What do you think? It’s licensed under the super cool nonprofit creativecommons.org, which means that as long as I’ve given credit to the original source, I can use this bad ass logo for whatever I want! I’m thinking t-shirts, mugs, tote bags, maybe a phone case…

Though I may be small fries now, MerMadness is the foundation of my empire. I can feel it in my fins! I’ve felt so inspired since I made that first crown. I recently went through some tough life stuff like my best friend moving away. It was a struggle to find an outlet for my energy and feelings for a while, but pouring myself into MerMadness has been perfect for me. The first two crowns I made were for us to wear together at a music festival.

I am so grateful for her and all of the other incredible people in my life. They inspire me, push me, support me, lean on me, hug me, love me, and give me the freedom to be completely myself. I’ve worked really hard to cultivate my network. That includes you! Thank you for being here.

You’ll find I’m a bit unconventional to say the least, but that’s okay. Connection is what drives me every day. I want to have a positive impact on everyone I meet. You can change the world, one interaction at a time. Conviction is a powerful thing, and I believe that we all have a choice. I choose to embrace love as much as possible, and show you love. I don’t need to know you to love you; I already do.

That’s the secret to my mermaid magic right there, y’all: LOVE. I got it strong. You can have some. There’s an unlimited amount. Don’t be afraid to share your love with others, dolls, it’s what makes life so sweet. Smile. Laugh. Give strangers compliments. Give your loved ones compliments. HUG.

On that note, I’m swimming off to hustle on some mermaid crowns for my first vending gig in two weeks. I’ll post more on that later. I hope you lovelies all have a fabulous day!
